This is estimated that 1% to 5% of children have a lazy eye. If it is untreated in the optimal treatment period, it can cause permanent visual damage, impair daily activities and lead to social and financial deficits later in life. The treatment for the last decades has involved patching the stronger eye to force the weaker eye.

The main goal of this project is to create interactive media for children at 7-12 in Canada for a more sustainable and less stressful visual therapy from home. So that, people won't miss the optimal treatment period.

Optometrists can set up eye therapy for their patients individually based on their condition. A website is designed to set up a user profile, determine eye therapy, and track eye therapy progress.

The traditional amblyopia treatment focuses its significance on the vision need. Actually, amblyopia has adverse consequences for some children’s identity and psychosocial well-being. There is an opportunity to create a video game that integrates both vision and psychosocial needs.
